BearSignal investigates the internal consistency of public-company disclosure and delivers graded forensic assessments to institutional subscribers through its research platform and API.

Research Note: The Contradiction Test

Most quantitative screens rank anomalies. BearSignal does something narrower, and we think more defensible: we test whether a company's own disclosures logically contradict one another.

A contradiction inside a company's own filings is not a matter of opinion — it is a fact about the record. When we find one, we grey-flag the company: a hard contradiction, detected, pending confirmation.
